How Could it Potentially Help Your Business?

Hello reader! Welcome back to Tina's Typical Tuesdays! I hope you've enjoyed my last blog post, "Get to Know the Writer: About Me", but today, I will finally be starting my legitimate blog posts! As promised, here is the weekly "Quote of the Week":

"Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Bill Gates, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein." - Unknown

When I think about positive thinking, I normally tend to believe that it will have just an overall better effect on my life because I feel happier and more stress-free. However, has it ever occurred to you that perhaps positive thinking could possibly even improve your business? This is because of multiple reasons, one of them being that positive thinking has been proven to aid problem solving. Optimism/positive thinking could also result in resilience because even if you fail, if you think positively, you will always get back up and try again until you succeed!

Problem Solving Benefits
Firstly, positive thinking can help you problem solve better. According to the article, "To Infinity and Beyond: Harnessing the Power of Positive Thinking" by business.com, "Research by Barbara Fredrickson, a psychology professor who has written extensively about positivity, found that those who think positive thoughts have a greater capacity to take on board new information. This then improves a person's perspective and ability to "connect the dots," enabling them to tackle any problems and obstacles that may arise." This reflects that a positive attitude could potentially help you have an open mind and therefore have the ability to take in new information easily and problem solve better.

Building Resilience through Positive Thinking
Another advantage for your business due to positive thinking is that you can build much more resilience. The article "Guest Blog: Four Ways to Build Resilience Using Positive Thinking" by Harvest states that, "Resilience is closely interlinked with happiness and wellbeing. The growing field of positive psychology has found that positive emotions can strongly influence our level of happiness and lead to flourishing, both physically and psychologically... Building our resilience requires us to cultivate a positive mindset. Small changes, repeated consistently over time can be enough to help us improve the way we perceive and deal with challenges." Thus, positivity can help build resilience.

To conclude, resilience and the ability to problem solve better are just some of the many ways that positive thinking can help improve your life and even business. Anyways, thank you for reading my blog post and I will see you all next Tuesday!
